Reading...
So, I've read a few books so far this year!
Here is what I have to take back to the library:
"Holly" by Jude Deveraux -- I like whatever this lady writes.

"Eleven On Top" by Janet Evanovich -- I have to keep up with what Stephanie Plum is up to!
"A Case of Bad Taste" and "A Case of Nosy Neighbors" by Lori Copeland -- these two were nice easy reads... I like that for books to take to work and read on my lunch time.
And, I picked up a few books at Meijer's with a gift card I had:
"S is for Silence" by Sue Grafton -- I had read all the others up to this, so of course I had to have this one! It was pretty dang good....
"Be My Valentine" by Debbie Macomber -- currently reading. Two stories in this one. My Mom is not so patiently waiting for me to finish it! (I needed a fluffy romance to read!)
"First Impressions" by Jude Deveraux -- waiting in the wings!
I've also been doing some stitching, and sewing on my quilt blocks. And, of course there is family, and work. Rick is now unemployed, and wants to move back home. So.... we are in the process of de-cluttering the basement. He told me I was a 'pack-rat'. Nice thing to say to his mother!! I think we are at the limit for trash pickup for the next couple of weeks! --And the Good Will is getting lots of 'stuff'!
That's it until later....

G'morning GF: I read 11 on top. I have not read allof them ... maybe the 10th & 11th ones. Is the #12 out, too???
Sorry about Rick. He isn't the only one in that boat. I so get the de-cluttering & all ... I went thru that in Nov & Dec. it takes a lot of patience b/c there are just things that need to be put away - and things needing the "toss".
I confess to you, my ... yes, I said "MY" Cabbage Patch dolls are still downstairs. There are just things that cannot be pitched!! AND, my SIL's Raggedy Andy, and a couple Raggedy Anns from my Mom, are upstairs in my bedroom. Yeah, I'm just not able to part with them.
So, Rick will have to cope & I know it will be a shuffle in your household.
Enjoy your quilt blocks. I have not been doing anything ... just resting up & reading ... brownsing the internet ... reading blogs. The boys have 11am dismissal - rehearsals - pep band at the Basketball game. They have a life & I drive them to it !!! LOL
April 18th: Hi Myrna! Delighted to hear from your this a.m. I have not been on-line much b/c Alex has some applications out for summer jobs. I got one phone call from the nursery [apx 3 mi] around the corner that he has an interview on Monday at 6:15pm. The local market gave him the thumbs down b/c he won't be 15 until June -- but, the manager wrote down her name & phone number + told him to call back in June after his birthday if he hadn't been hired. This store is a small grocery & he'd stock shelves & take sacks out to cars. I think he could handle it.
There are so many teens out now seeking out summer posts. It is always a scramble to see what is available. Alex will be working the lights [or light board] for the middle school play Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun performances. So, he is excited to learn the light board.
Nick is interviewing a Veteran for his History Class. This young man was injured by a grenade & has an inner ear injury. I think Nick will learn a lot. They are meeting at a pizza place. Is that "G-U-Y-ish" or what??? I swear, anything for food.
I finished reading one Jennifer Chiaverini book called The Sugar Camp. I thought I might have been reading the series out-of-order; however, the web site has books in chronological order & books by published date order. I am confused!!!
Gotta run ... loads of errands today & I need to keep my phone free!!!
